Advance Wars is returning to Nintendo Switch with a ground-up remake of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2 Black Hole Rising, in Advance Wars 1+2 Re-boot Camp. Initially released back in 2001 and 2003 for the Gameboy Advance, these incredible turn-based strategy games return to the Nintendo Switch, allowing us to battle across the 5 nations with a range of Zany characters, each with unique CO abilities and specialities across land, sea and air.
We cannot wait to get back into Advance Wars here at 3Bit and really get stuck into this incredible strategy game, which has moved away from its original pixel style and redesigned into a smooth 3D graphical design that brings a more cartoon/anime vibe to the Advance Wars experience. Multiplayer will also return with Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp with up to 4 player battles across dozens of maps. Unfortunately, we have no word yet whether this will be online or local only, and there have been no details on whether we will see the option to create our own maps, which was a highly popular feature and would go down incredibly with an online community if this newly announced reboot goes worldwide!
Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp will release on Nintendo Switch on December 3rd. Are you as excited as we are? Let us know in this article's comments on our Facebook and Twitter Pages, which you can find and follow below.
