in 2019 it was announced that Indie Metroidvania Axiom Verge is getting a sequel and will be available would be available this year for Nintendo Switch. Now it has been announced that it will also be coming to PC via the Epic Games Store. Axiom Verge 2 serves as a sequel to its predecessor. However, it also serves as its own standalone game as it features new characters, new abilities, new enemies, and a new world. You can play Axiom Verge 2 before the first game too, as the game serves as prequel and sequel set decades later and centuries in the past.

In Axiom Verge 2 we take on the role of Indra, a billionaire behind the World 3 conglomerate, as she explores a new world in a huge interconnected map. To survive in this new world, Indra will need to hacks enemies, each with unique consequences for doing so, and scouts ahead with her drone, which in turn also has its own unique skills and abilities. Will you be able to figure out the mysteries surrounding Indra and the strange world she has discovered
