Today we see the release of a new indie Souls-like, Blue Flame by Indie developer Fox’s Sake Studio. This is Fox Sake’s first commercial release and we at 3Bit are very excited to bring you news of Blue Flme’s Debut on Steam. Blue Flame is a top-down Souls-like title that puts players into the world of a Pyromancer during a great war. We join the Pyromancer moments before King Gaiwen orders his Archmage to unleash a devastating and experimental Spell which changes the world forever. Our Pyromancer is hit by the spell, perishing in the storm unleashed by the Archmage, but that isn’t the end of his story.
The Pyromancer awakens hundreds of years later to a very different world. Fire has turned blue and offers a cold feel rather than the warming and orange glow we are used to, Monsters have risen from the ground and soldiers roam the battlefield mindlessly attacking anybody who dares to cross their path. We have had some great fun playing the demo for Blue flame this week at 3Bit and though it is a challenge we are sure you will too. I absolutely love the pixel design used in Blue Flame as you explore the bloody fate of soldiers from the war long passed, explore spider-infested woods and battle bosses of all shapes and sizes in this incredibly challenging take on a what some call punishment and other call greatness.
You can check out Blue Flame on Steam right now, where you can try out the demo for yourself, or even pick the game up with 20% off at £7.49 until Febuary 5th 2021, After this date Blue Flame will return to its full price of £9.29. Don’t forget to stay with us here at 3Bit as we continue to bring you the latest from across the gaming world, with all the latest news, reviews, announcements and much more!
