Sword and gunplay are coming together for a fantastic looking title that we haven’t seen or heard much of since its initial reveal at the Xbox Series X reveal event. That’s right, we are talking about Bright Memory: Infinite, which will be releasing late this year on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Today, Bright Memory: Infinite got a new trailer showcasing our protagonist battling enemies in intense, fast-paced combat using both swords and guns to decimate her opponents and battle various bosses big and small in fantastic looking first-person combat.
What makes Bright Memory Infinite even more impressive is its past. Bright Memory initially started as a single chapter, which in many ways served as a demo for the lone developer of FYQD Studios in order to secure crowdfunding. Now, FYQD is nearly ready to release Bright Memory Infinite, with the support of Japanese publishers Playism. As an additional bonus, players who own Bright Memory on PC will get a free upgrade to Bright Memory: Infinite.
Bright Memory Infinite will take us to the distant future of 2036, where a strange phenomenon is occurring over the skies of a futuristic metropolis. Scientists have failed to find an answer to the phenomena. They have left the investigation up to the Supernatural Science Research Organisation (SRO). The SRO has sent out its best agents to various regions to uncover the mystery. They discover the phenomena is connected to an “archaic mystery” and an unknown history of two worlds that are about to come to light.
