Cyberpunk has been in a tough spot since its launch back in December 2020, due to its poor console port and constant bugs and glitches. For some, this made the game completely unplayable, or full of issues that took players out of the immersive experience of what was built up to be THE game for 2020. CD Projekt Red, the developers for Cyberpunk 2077, has been hard at work trying to fix all of the issues fans are making complaints about. Unfortunately, many fans believe that this is not enough, and over in the USA, a class action lawsuit was set against CD Projekt, the publishers for Cyberpunk 2077, which we will bring more details too at the close of the case.

Now Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Rights is currently investigating how CD Projekt is working on patches to Cyberpunk 2077, along with if the Polish-based video games company is helping with the complaints from dissatisfied customers who did not receive the product they were expecting. This news comes from "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna", a Polish news company, who re achieved this quote from Małgorzata Cieloch, press spokesman of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection:

"We approach the entrepreneur to explain the problems with the game and the actions he has taken. We will check how the manufacturer is working on the introduction of amendments or solution to difficulties preventing the game on different consoles, but also how it intends to act in relation to the persons who filed complaints and are dissatisfied with your purchase due to the inability to play games on owned equipment despite previous assurances producer. "

There has been no official comment from CD Projekt or the Development team at CD Projekt Red yet. However, the recent patches and the next coming patch, which was initially stated as coming this month, could see many of the issues in question fixed. We here at 3Bit hope that this investigation can not only help the developers as they work toward the next update for Cyberpunk 2077. We also hope that it will help fans on both sides of the fence here, in either getting their refunds or getting the incredible game they had expected. Until then, it is a waiting game, and we at 3Bit will return to Cyberpunk with the facts when they are released.
