Devil May Cry is coming to PlayStation 5 in Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition. This great re-release will bring us the return of Dante Nero and V, along with an all-new way to play. Virgil, Dantes twisted Brother, will return as a playable character, and it would seem that he has several tricks up his sleeve. One such trick is that he can use Yamato to create a demonic form of himself to fight alongside him, much like Nero could with his arm in Devil May Cry 4.

Virgil also seems to be able to cast out his human self and become the poetic V on a whim too, allowing him to unleash his dreaded nightmare demons. The Devil May Cry V Special Edition will also include upscaled graphics on the PlayStation 5, with the options to allow Ray Tracing and full 4K optimisation if you do not have a PlayStation 5 however fear not, as Virgil DLC packs will be coming to all other platforms at a later date!

As if all of these incredible features weren’t enough, we will also be seeing High frame rate modes for Devil May Cry Special Edition, where we will see up to 120 FPS. Along with that, the dual sense controllers will be taken full advantage of, especially when playing as Nero using his sword, Red Queen’s Exceed.
