The Brotherhood of Steel is coming to Fallout 76 this winter. On December 1st we will see the return of the armoured legion in Steel Dawn, a free update that shares a name with a 1987 Patrick Swayze movie, also set in post-apocalyptic America. However, we doubt we will see a Samurai Swayze in this update (Although this is Fallout, we could be wrong).

The return of the Brotherhood of Steel will bring forward a new questline, which will follow on from the previous update, where we assisted the Brotherhood’s First Expeditionary Force. The full might of the Brotherhoods first expeditionary force has now arrived in the Appalachia, and they are determined to return order with the assistance of the Vault Dwellers. But not all vault dwellers may agree with the return of order to the Appalachia and will want the tech coveted by the Brotherhood for themselves. As always in Fallout, this new questline will carry the option to help or hinder the Brotherhood in this all-new adventure.

The Steel Dawn update in December will also include more Human N.P.C.s New locations, a seasonal refresh and C.A.M.P updates. Along with the main update, Bethesda will also be hosting numerous events both in-game and online with live streams, Lore videos and a new trailer which will be shown to us during the game awards!

As for in-game content, we will be seeing double S.C.O.R.E events, treasure hunter hunts, and a new Holliday “Scorched event”. You can check out the full calendar of events below, and check out the all-new trailer for Steel Dawn at the top of this page.

With all the recent updates and the addition of more N.P.C.’s, Fallout 76 is finally turning it into the game we all expected it to be and many fans have stated they will be returning to the game to try out this exciting looking expansion.

Fallout 76 is currently available on Xbox One PlayStation 4 and P.C. Fallout 76 will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, however, there has been no mention of features being upgraded for the new consoles
