FarCry 6 is getting closer and closer to launch, with its October 7th release date just a summer holiday away, and Ubisoft still had plenty to show us durning their E3 Showcase, Ubisoft Forward. At the start of the FarCry 6 presentation we got an all new cinematic trailer (above) where we got to see the new main villain Anton Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito) torment a group of refugees with a story about his father taking him fishing. During the story, he reveals that the refugees were caught because his own son was among them. Whilst Anton’s son, Diego pleas for compassion to the refugees, however this is not one of them trailers with a happy ending and we learn the true evilness within the calm and stoic dictator we will be fighting to reclaim our homeland from in Far Cry 6.
However, Ubisoft did not stop there as they also showcased some of the incredible post launch content coming to this highly anticipated game. The first post launch DLC is probably the most exciting one too, as we find out we will be the bad guys! You read that right! We will be stepping into the shoes of Vaas, Pagan and Joseph, the villains of Farcry 3, 4 and 5 as we take a journey through their mind! Personally I cannot wait to play as the one and only Vaas as we tear through Rook Island telling everybody what the definition of insanity is.
The second thrilling post launch update will be Blood Dragon's return, which was first introduced in Far Cry 3 and brought an insane new story filled with crazy destructive weapons and tonnes of Reto Cheese. Not a lot of information is known about this expansion yet, whether this is a remake or remaster or not, but be sure to stick with us as we will find more information for this expansion very soon.
