Gamescon is just around the corner, with it’s opening night taking place this Thursday at 1900 BST, but what can we expect to see from what we anticipate to be an incredible end to an amazing summer of gaming. Gamescon opening night will be hosted by Geoff Keighley who will also be ending his Summer Game Fest with Gamescon. The online event will bring a tonne of new updates from some of our favourite games along with some future titles coming to next-gen consoles.

The first announcement for Gamescon Opening night was DOOM Eternals first story DLC: The Ancient Gods Part One, but over the last few days we now have a lot more details as to what to expect from the opening night. Alongside the Doom Slayer, we will also be seeing our favourite beans as Fall Guys will show off Season 2, The Mysteries of the cold war will come to light as we get our first look at Call of Duty Black Ops Cold war, We will see more updates from Destiny 2 and their upcoming expansion Beyond Light, the gangsters will also be taking over the show at some point too as we get our first look at Mafia Definitive Edition, and for all of you playing Blizzard’s Incredible MMO World of Warcraft, there will be an update on the history erasing Shadowlands. Along with all of these incredible announcements and updates we will also be seeing our favourite Lombax in an all-new world premiere thanks to Geoff Keighley and the Ratchet and Clank team at Insomniac Games, as well as a few more secrets that haven't been shared yet!

Gamescon will take place between August 27th and August 30th and along with this incredible opening night we will be seeing a variety of other announcements and reveals, along with Cosplay, Panels, awards, an Indie Demo Booth and so much more.
