Skullbot games is an indie developer formed by 2 outstanding members of the Wildstar team, James “Gaffer” Gaffney and Doug Koup. These excellent developers have a great history in the world of gaming, having worked not just on Wildstar, but also n Diablo 3, Guld Wars and City of Heroes too. During our last stream of Gone Viral we got to talk to Jeremy, who answered all of your questions about what to expect from Gone Viral, along with his tremendous history in gaming, all whilst showing us some of Gone Virals incredible Twitch integration features, sometimes we had some health gifted to us, whilst other times we were running away from a barrage of nuclear bombs that decimated the arena!
Gone Viral is a Rougelite hack and slash which brings Bloodsport to the masses both In game and through its incredible twitch integration and on top of it all it is the perfect game to come back to again and a again as no 2 rounds will ever be the same. Gone Viral brings its bloodsports to life through its post apocolyptic game show styled theme, we play as a contestant who has been captured by this blood thirsty community and are now forced to play their twisted game of kill or be killed to ultimately become the champion of this dreaded arena. Gone Viral is build upon procedurally generated dungeons filled with mutants and warbots for you to decimate in numerous ways, be it through lethal hack and slash combos, or through thrilling pinball combat or knocking enemies into deadly traps. If that isn’t enough for you, then why not go hunting for some mutations to stir it up even more. Mutations can change the games in numerous amounts of ways, from your total health, to a propeller attached to your back, which not only makes you fly, but will also make you lethal from all angles. As we kill our fan base will continue to grow, more fans means more events. More events can be extremely beneficial, however they can also be extremely lethal, especially when those fans are your Twitch followers, who also get a say in what event will happen next. Will you be able to earn your freedom? Check out Gone Viral for yourself when it comes to Early Access on September 24th, or come and torment Jordan this weekend when he streams his second attempt at Gone Viral this weekend!
