We finally have a release date for 2021’s most surreal title, Grime, by indie developers Clover Bite and published by Akupara Games. We will finally be able to enter the world of anatomical horrors on August 2ndwhen Grime launches on PC and Google Stadia for $24.99. Grime is a title we have been excited about since the early days of 3Bit, which is when we first learnt of this fantastic looking game that takes us to an unbelievable beautiful yet twisted world that we have not seen the likes of in any other game.

In Grime, we play a living Black Hole that has awoken into a strange interconnected tribal world built of anatomical features, such as faces and hands. These worlds are filled with creatures in keeping with the surreal anatomical horrors surrounding us with out of proportion features and a peculiar number of limbs. Not all of these creatures that lurk in this strange landscape are friendly, as many will try to strike you down. But we can fight back thanks to an arsenal of living weapons that mutate as we use them in combat. We will also be able to upgrade our own skills by absorbing our defeated foes no matter how big and powerful they may be.

Grime will release on August 2nd with over 15 hours of gameplay for the skilled player, but will you be able to survive the challenge? Let us know in this article’s comments on Facebook or Twitter, and let us know! Or you can join our Discord and tell us what you think about Grime. You can find your invite on the 3Bit home page.
