Enter a world of surreal inhabitants, obscure proportions and strange anatomy in Funnel entertainment’s upcoming release: Grime. This unusual Metroidvania style game will introduce you to some rather unique inhabitants, as you piece together their history, relations and the origins of their maddened state. Grime will take us on a journey into the unreal as we explore “weeping caves, face covered deserts” and civilisations filled characters just as uncanny as the environments. Grime will bring us enemies born out of the bizarre environment, and leave us to fend them off with weapons made from living creatures that are capable of changing their forms. Grime will feature a parrying system for its combat that when pulled off will not only absorb the enemies hit but will also increase your strength, allowing you to then consume your foes and gain experience towards your skill tree, along with all-new abilities to turn the tides in your favour. Grime promises a seamless and interactive world will allow us to uncover a variety of secrets and meet some rather quirky characters. Whilst this game is still in the development stage and has not yet got a release date you can check out a few screenshots from Grime Below, and make sure to check out the Steam Marketplace for Grime (, where you can check out a few clips of the gameplay and add to your wish list for Grime’s latest updates.
