Becastled is a Real Time Strategy (RTS) Game, which focuses on building a castle, and defending from brutal enemy sieges. Unlike other popular RTS games, Becastled offers tighter and more claustrophobic battles, where the close management of each defence is paramount to your victory. This is a nice contrast when compared “to the highlight and click to attack” mechanism you find in other RTS’s. Nicely this title comes out on February 8th on Steam and actually has demo live now, which can be found on the developer’s website here: http://manapotionstudios.com/becastled.php The heart of Becastled gameplay is tasking players in building up a castle and town with impressive defences to push back attacking regions. It’s a nice change of pace, from not having to think about attack tactics, forcing you to concentrate on defencing only. To this effect resource gathering is as important as ever, and once you have started to gather enough resources, you’ll be choosing whether to spend these on improving your ever-growing army, or to fortify the castle in which you are currently building. The name of the game here is to build an effective defence, opposed to the biggest army.

Bacastled will be in its early access phase when it releases, offering players: • 26 different buildings you can build • 7 different resources to manage • 3 types of walls and gates • Towers to put archers or trebuchets on • 4 types of player units • 4 types of enemy units • 4 types of enemy siege weapons

Although, this is not the end vision to the game, with developers Mana Potion Studios aiming to add more content to the game on a frequent basis. So far the devs have committed to adding: • Campaign • Magic • Heroes • Neutrals • More units & buildings • More stuff in world generator • More enemies • Seasons
