Yesterday Epic announced great news for fans of indie games (like us) with an all-new announcement for apps that are available on your Epics Games Launcher. Included among these free apps is Itch.IO, a DRM free Indie games marketplace filled with incredible titles. We have had the privilege and pleasure to play here at 3Bit, including Katja’s Abyss: Tactics, Ad Wars ( Early Access) and Project Sang (demo currently available). The addition of an Itch.IO app on the Epic Games Launcher not only means more accessibility for fans of great indie games but also for the developers, as this new gateway into the indie market place can bring a lot more publicity to some incredible games that may fly under the radar of many gamers!

Along with Itch.IO, we will also be seeing other apps added to the Epic Games Launcher, including open-source browser Brave, which brags 3x performance over Google Chrome. Ken Shape, a 3D model generator that uses 2D Pixel Art to generate designs. Krita, a digital painting application commonly used for illusions, comics, animations and sketches. Finally, for North American users, there is also iHeartRadio, an all-in-one digital music, podcasting, and live streaming radio service. All of these incredible apps are available to download within the Epic Games Store now, so be sure to check them out with links to each app available here through the original Epic Games news report.
