During last nights Summer Games Fest Kick off, we got some very exciting news from the one and only Jeff Goldblum, who revealed Jurassic World Evolution 2, a sequel to 2018s Evolution where we could manage our own dinosaur park based on the 2015 movie Jurassic World. This follows up title is in development by British Developers Frontier Developments, who also brought us the first rendition of the park management game. This sequel will bring an all-new and immersive campaign with voice casting by many of the Jurassic World franchise's cast, including Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard. Along with this incredible casting lineup, Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be filled with tons of new features, game modes, and, most importantly, MORE DINOSAURS.
Jurassic World Evolution will expand upon the original game by allowing players to expand their building outside of the Muertes Archipelago, with new locations and terrains, including dense forests and arid deserts. Jurassic World Evolution 2 will also feature over 75 prehistoric creatures for you to care for, including a range of flying and marine reptiles, that according to Frontier, have been in huge demand by fans!
Jurassic World Evolution 2's story will take place right after the events of the latest cinematic release, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and will feature an original story that is yet to be revealed. Along with the campaign, we will also be seeing the sandbox mode where we can create our own park from the ground up, A chaos Theory mode which takes pivotal movie plot points and brings them into your game as you try to make your mark, and finally, there is challenge mode, which will test any experienced players mastery of the park management experience.
No official release date has been given for Jurassic World Evolution 2 just yet, but what we do know is that it is planned to release later this year on PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC, so be sure to follow us on our social media channels below as we continue to follow this stunning looking park management simulator into its full release.
