Katja's Abyss: Tactics, an all-new Minesweeper/Turn-based Strategy title by independent developer Kiefer Nemeth has finally been given the release date of April 9th! Katja's Abyss: Tactics was the first of a series of Introducing articles we released at the start of this year, making us even more excited for this incredible indie titles release. If you have not had the opportunity to check out anything for Katja's Abyss: Tactics, then be sure to check out our experience below, along with their itch page right here, where you will be able to pick up this. Incredibly addicting single-player experience on day one!

Katja's Abyss: Tactics takes us to the fictional Montmane mountain as we start our expedition with the Echo Mining Corp. The mountain is brimming with powerful energy ripe for extraction, but between you and the energy is hordes of mutated monsters that are not impressed with you disturbing their home. As a newly promoted captain, you will follow Head Researcher Katja into the mines, building units and forging a path and stomping out any hostile life that threatens you and your units. But what are these monsters? What is this mysterious energy? Is the Echo Mining Corp telling us everything? The only way we will ever know is by digging deeper into the mountain.

Katja's Abyss is a literal blast to play from start to finish as you solve the complex puzzle in each level to make your extraction, protect your unit builder and defeat as many units as possible! Katja's Abyss: Tactics is also filled with tons of secrets waiting to be discovered, meaning that there is a tonne of replayability, especially for those like me who like to discover all of a games' incredible lore to get a complete understanding of the world.

Katja's Abyss: Tactics features eight levels. Each will come with their own unique ranking system where you will be graded on your performance, and whilst there are ways to power through at breakneck speeds, this might not allow you to come out of the game with a good grade,  and will come at a devastating cost to your deployments. This is because the strategy for making record times on the levels completion will destroy potentially all of the levels resources in the process, leaving you open to some potentially devastating attacks. Be sure to stay with us at 3Bit by following us on our social media pages below as we continue to bring you more incredible news from across the gaming world along with further details from Katja's Abyss Tactics.
