LEGO and Unity team up for an awesome competition

Have you ever wanted to create your own game, but don’t know where to start? Or have you tried to get you hands on some of the incredible Nintendo and LEGO collaborations, but haven’t been fortunate to pick them up yet? Well, look no further as this article has the answer for you! LEGO Ideas and Unity have teamed up to bring you a fantastic competition with not one, but two incredible grand prizes up for grabs which will include a LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor set, a LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System, 2 of the popular LEGO Mario sets (Bowsers Castle and Adventures with Mario Starter course, one-year subscription to Unity Pro, Unity Microgames Premium Asset Bundle and a Unity Asset Store voucher valued at $200.

To win one of these incredible prizes, LEGO and Unity are asking hopefuls to create their own microgame, using the LEGO Microgame software in Unity, ( with this template users will be able to create their own microgame and submit it to the Lego Ideas page which you can find here ( along with all the rules and terms and conditions surrounding the competition. The competition allows entries from candidates aged 18 and up, but welcomes families building their games together. The competition will be ongoing until March 15th, and everybody who enters will also receive a LEGO Unity Minifigure.
