Yesterday we got to see our final playable character for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Joining Crash, Coco, Cortex and Dingodile will be returning hero Tawna. Tawna who was originally more a Bandicoot in distress back in the original Crash Bandicoot game returns as a principal character in It’s About Time. Gone is the blonde hair and sporty look that Tawna sported throughout the early Crash games. Now Tawna is wearing a more adventurer style of outfit with a more punk-like appearance with her hair and attitude.
Tawnas gameplay also reflects her new adventurer garb, as she is capable of wall jumping, kicking serious bad guy and grappling her way across the map. You can check out the reveal cutscene and gameplay for the all-new badass Tawna above, which was presented during an episode of PlayStation Underground yesterday evening.
As a bonus to the reveal of Tawna, we also learnt when we would be able to get our hands on the demo for Crash Bandicoot It’s About Time. If you pre-order a digital copy of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time you will be able to access the games demo on September 16th. Crash Bandicoot 4 will release on October 2nd 2020 and will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
