Nintendo have announced during their Nintendo Direct today, that Capcom are bringing a brand new Monster Hunter game to the Nintendo Switch Console. Monster Hunter Rise takes all the things that made Monster Hunter World an amazing experience and improves on them further. This time we are treated with even more abilities that allow player to traverse the expansive hunting zones more fluidly. The game opts to deliver a more nimble experience by introducing the ability to wall run and dive.

Another added feature is the introduction Palamutes, which are ridable dog companions who will help hunters during their quests. This entry takes its visual design, more along the lines of traditional old school architecture. Instead of having a pretty well-built functional base, like in world, the hub area has gone back to its roots, giving us a village to raise and improve. There so much to see, so be sure to check out the trailer above.
