Gamescom 2021 is just a day away from Opening Night Live now, and to celebrate this incredible event and their most successful mooltiplayer event, The 6th Axis are bringing something unique and exciting to their fantastic upcoming title Moo Lander. The 6th access will be hosting the first-ever Galactic Mooball competition, where players all over the globe will be able to compete within the free steam demo in what can only be described as one of the craziest football games to be made.

Galactic Mooball will be available to play and compete from August 25th until August 29th. In that time, you will have to score as many goals as possible with friends against other players, as you take football to the skies in intense UFO gameplay to reach the top of the leader board. You will, of course, need to choose a team to support too, which will either be The Landers or the Ancient Mighty Cows, which you know this Mighty Duck’s fan will be playing for. Each game will also need a stadium and a ball too, and in Moo Lander, it would seem we are being given A LOT of choices, with a wide variety of unique Galactic Mooball arenas, filled with environmental hazards and obstacles, and over 20 different balls, each with distinct physical properties.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a competition without prizes, and The 6th Axis has gone all out with prizes for the top 5 players, which you can check out below.

  • 1st place - A special Moo Lander T-Shirt + 25€ Steam Gift Card.

  • 2nd place - 25€ Steam Gift Card.

  • 3rd place - 10€ Steam Gift Card.

  • 4th place - 5€ Steam Gift Card.

  • 5th place - 5€ Steam Gift Card.

And that’s not all, as each of the top 5 players will also gain access to the extended demo of Moo Lander, which will allow them to continue playing the Galactic Mooball game mode and other multiplayer game modes which will be released in the future!

If you need a break from Mooball, then be sure to check out the rest of Moo Lander through the fantastic demo on Steam before it fully launches next year! Moo Lander brings a great mix of platforming, puzzle-solving, resource management and crazy combat, that is an absolute blast! This fantastic demo takes us through several unique 2D environments as we try to gather milk … on mars, which seems to be the source of well everything our UFO pilot does. The milk isn’t just for your UFO pilot, though, as he has taken the last one within his civilization to save them. The milk is also required to save his homeworld, but he must first find cows to get the milk, making for challenging boss battles. Getting to these mighty cows is no easy feat either, as we will also need to battle our way through complex levels filled with dangerous obstacles, fauna and flora. If all that wasn’t enough, though, you can also play Moo Lander with friends, as Moo Lander offers couch co-op and remote play on Steam.
