The Super Mario 3D Collection was not the only thing announced today during the 35th anniversary of our favourite plumber. Along with the incredible three-game collection which we shared earlier here at 3Bit we also saw four more great announcements from Nintendo for Super Mario themed games, along with some fantastic looking merch from a variety of retailers. If you want to witness all of the announcements and merch, then be sure to check out the full Nintendo Direct Mini above, or you can check out all four announcements below.

Our First announcement was for an all-new limited Game and Watch featuring the Classic Super Mario Bros. The Game and Watch will feature the full NES classic Mario game, along with a clock feature and 35 hidden bonuses for you to discover. The Game and watch is a classic mini handheld that features a single game, along with the full game we will also see the lost levels of Mario, all of which will be playable on the game and watches full colour Chrystal screen. This limited Game and Watch will launch on November 13th 2020

Our second announcement was for Super Mario 3D Worlds + Bowsers Fury this four-player Co-Op game is a port over from the original Wii U version. Where you and your friends will be able to play as a variety of Mario Characters, including Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad as you venture around this incredible 3D world to stop Bowser and as always save the Mushroom Kingdom. Super Mario 3D Worlds will launch on the Nintendo Switch on February 12th 2021.

The Next game announced will only be available on the Nintendo Switch for a few months and will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch online members. The game is classic Super Mario, with a twist. 35 players will compete to race across levels, collect the most coins or defeat the most enemies. This multiplayer version of Super Mario will also bring in a more competitive spirit with an Item Roulette, giving some players a much more significant advantage over others. The competitive Mario will launch on the 1st of October 2020 and will be available until the 31st March 2021

Finally, we saved the best until last, and that is real-life Mario Kart in your living room! Mario Kart Live Home Circuit will turn your living room, Kitchen bedroom or park into your very own Mario Kart race track through the use of Augmented Reality. These AR Tracks will be created by a series of checkpoints and a camera fitted to an RC Kart that connects to your Nintendo Switch. For me, this was the most mind-blowing and unpredictable announcement Nintendo have made so far this year and think that Home Circuit could change the way we enjoy family racing games such as Mario Kart. You will be able to pick up Mario Kart Live Home Circuit this holiday season on October 16th 2020.
