New details and screenshots have emerged from the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War title, prior to its full reveal this Friday at Gamescom Opening Night Live. The details emerged from a trailer that was showcased in Warzone today. The new trailer featured a lot of details for the upcoming Call of Duty title and even included the release date of November 13th. Black Ops Cold war will also be available on Next-Gen consoles, which will not be a free upgrade for standard edition owners unfortunately.

The trailer throws us straight into the late 60’s with the Vietnam war, right before throwing us into the early 80’s with Ronald Regan giving one of his many speeches over the sounds of New Order’s Blue Monday. The trailer then cuts back to gameplay where we see familiar faces such as Hudson, Woods and Mason as they begin their pursuit for the mysterious Soviet Agent Perseus (named after the Greek Monster Slayer), who is attempting to shift the balance of the cold war from the inside. The team will set out to a variety of locations in what seems to be a much more story driven campaign than previous Call of Duty games, hunting Perseus, along with a variety of enemies of the West. Black Ops Cold war looks like it will be filled with a lot of Cinematic action, a variety of new gadgets and some incredible high-octane chases through civilian territories. The Story will be a direct sequel to the original Black Ops Games, so if you want to remind yourself of the story now is the time to dust off your previous gen console, or if you are on Xbox One you will be able to play the game through backwards compatibility.

Black Ops Cold War will also Feature character creation for its mysterious and twisted story, where several options of customisation available. Additionally the campaigns gameplay will be seeing a bit of a shake up too, as Black Ops Cold War will feature a new style of level, where players will be able to explore larger maps and complete the objective in a variety of methods, along with some new dialogue options too. This trailer is just the first in many exciting updates for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, with our next update coming on September 9th we will be seeing the Multiplayer reveal, in which it looks like we will see massive maps filled with technicals and assault helicopters. In an unknown future update, we will also be seeing the next chapter of Zombies.
