No Man’s Sky has an all-new, haunting update available to play right now! No Man’s Sky Desolation will bring abandoned freighters across the universe. These freighters are filled with loot for you and our friends to claim, however, there is a lot of danger between your ship and the loot, as each procedurally generated freighter will have a disturbing tale to tell about the fate of the crew and why the ships life support systems are down, leaving brave adventurers to fight the ships security systems and brave the atmospheric dangers. Security systems and a lack of oxygen are not the only threats found on these freighters though, as we may find the remnants of an alien nest, which if disturbed could bring devastating consequences. To start these dark adventures then head down to your local scrap dealer and for the right price they will give you a “Salvage Opportunity”. Desolation will also include many new upgrades for your freighter that can be unlocked through the adventure. The update will also bring new customisation options to your freighter, new combat mechanics, new multiplayer Nexus mission, new player titles and many more improvements, including lighting and graphical improvements. No Man’s Sky has been seeing a lot of improvement over time by Hello Games and we here at 3-Bit are very excited to see how the latest update fares.
