Omori, a new Indie horror RPG from developer Omocat, gets a release date of December 25th. Omori, which looks to have been inspired by Earthbound, takes us into two worlds, The WHITESPACE and the HEADSPACE. The WHITE SPACE is a minimalist world, with nothing more than the bare essentials, a blanket, a laptop, a cat, a sketchbook, and a box of tissues. The WHITE SPACE is your home, and you have been living here as long as you can remember. Your home in the WHITE SPACE is nothing more than a wall-less white room, but every now and again, a door will appear taking you to the vibrant world the HEADSPACE. The HEADSPACE is a beautiful world of colour and whimsical desire. We, as the player, will need to navigate through this world to uncover a past long since forgotten. As the story progresses, your fate and the fate of others will become apparent, and this surreal world will take a twisted turn.

You can check out more from Omori in its awesome trailer above, along with some screenshots showing off the incredible hand-drawn visuals below. Omori has been in development since 2014 and will be the first game from Omocat. You can pick up Omori on December 25th on Steam, and Mac Systems, whilst early backers of this game have also been able to pick up Omori on 3DS. Omori also has planned console releases. However, no information has been made available for them at this moment
