There has been a Murder on Eridanos!
They say the second time is the charm, and for Obsidian Entertainment’s Outer Worlds, this looks to be the case as the epic space RPG concludes with its second and final DLC pack, Murder on Eridanos, which is coming to PC and Consoles on March 17th. The new DLC pack will take players to the skies of Eridanos to solve what can only be described as the grandest of murder mystery events in Halcyon. This WhoDunit style of DLC will pit you as the Detective as you solve the unscrupulous murder of Halcyon Helen, the spokesperson for Rizzo. You and your ragtag crew will need to travel across the floating islands in the skies, analysing clues with an all-new gadget, the Discrepancy Amplifier, which will highlight unseen hints and allow you to solve the mystery surrounding the murder of Halcyon Helen.
Along with a luxurious new location and story arc, The Murder on Eridanos will also feature three new science weapons, along with a variety of weapon and armour variants. Player will also receive an increased level cap, allowing them to ascend a further three levels allowing you to equip new perks and create your greatest character yet. No official price has been given for the DLC pack yet. However, based upon the previous DLC, The Peril on Gorgon, it is likely to launch for roughly £12. We may also see an expansion pass featuring both DLC packs for the Outer Worlds, costing approximately £20. This is yet to be confirmed, though we will most likely see it on March 17thalongside the Murder on Eridanos DLC.
