Today Nintendo announced the return of Pikmin, with Pikmin 3 Deluxe coming to Nintendo Switch on October 30th, 2020. Pikmin 3 was first available on Nintendo switch and followed the adventures of Alph, Brittany and Charlie after they crash land on PNF- 404. Pikmin 3 Deluxe will bring the Wii U adventure back to Nintendo Switch with a tonne of new features, including 2 player co-op for the main story. Also included with the new deluxe edition will be an all-new prologue and epilogue featuring the heroes of Pikmin 1 and 2 Olimar and Louie. There will also be Quality of life improvements to the game, with an improved lock-on system, rebalancing enemies throughout the many available difficulty modes. We will also be seeing a few more minor features such as optional hints and a Piklopedia, where you can learn more about every character you discover. We will also be seeing the return of Pikmin 3’s “additional modes” including the competitive Bingo Battle, along with all of the DLC from the Wii U edition of Pikmin 3.
