Today during the SquareEnix E3 showcase, Platinum Games long-awaited game Babylon's Fall has been shown. It’s also worth mentioning that this title will be a live-service game, in which the game will receive regular updates to introduce more content and support the game for a long time. In this supported world, groups of 4 friends will team together fighting their way through dangerous dungeons, in which as the players get deeper into these they’ll be confronted by harder enemies, with a treacherous boss as their finale. However, conquering these will give you better weapons and armours to move on and take down much tougher enemies.

Fans have been really excited for this title, although after the reveal today it has divided them. Platinum are famous for creating excellent and respected game series, such as Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and Nier. This title takes its general style as far away from these games as you could imagine and has left fans believing that it feels very different to what they’ve played previously. Aesthetically we’ve got a standard that we expect from Platinum Games, and have become used to this style, so to see it change, I can understand that split in the fanbase. However, I trust Platinum completely! They have consistently delivered with their games and I can’t imagine that this game will break that change.

Babylon’s Fall is coming to PS5, PS4 and PC, though no release window has been given yet. This was announced during Square Enix's E3 showcase this evening. Also, Did you know that we have an active Discord Channel in which we have both Developers and Gamers mixed? It is a nice little community where we can all talk gaming, without judgement and genuinely have some really good conversations! Joining our community is free!
