Today gamers across the pond in North America to the East in Japan, Singapore, and South Korea and down under in Australia and New Zealand are starting to receive their PlayStation 5’s. This release marks the official beginning of Next-Gen for all console gamers as both Microsoft, and Sony’s consoles and games hit gamers across the world. Unfortunately for us here in the UK and the rest of the world we still have another seven days to wait for the PlayStation 5.

Whilst we here at 3Bit are in the UK and left waiting it does not mean we aren’t excited for these gamers who are getting their hands on their PlayStation’s and sharing their feedback on the Next-Gen console. With Japan already in the early afternoon at the time of writing, we have already seen a lot of praise for the PlayStation5, along with a lot of disappointment from the lack of stock for those who were unable to pre-order the incredibly popular console.

We have also seen a lot of excitement for the incredible array of launch day exclusives and third-party titles which you can check out below.

• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered
• Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Along with the release of all these incredible PlayStation 5 games, owners of the PlayStation 5 will also be able to take advantage of the PlayStation Plus collection which will feature 20 games that defined the PlayStation 4. You can check out all 20 games below.
