Today gamers across the pond in North America to the East in Japan, Singapore, and South Korea and down under in Australia and New Zealand are starting to receive their PlayStation 5’s. This release marks the official beginning of Next-Gen for all console gamers as both Microsoft, and Sony’s consoles and games hit gamers across the world. Unfortunately for us here in the UK and the rest of the world we still have another seven days to wait for the PlayStation 5.

Whilst we here at 3Bit are in the UK and left waiting it does not mean we aren’t excited for these gamers who are getting their hands on their PlayStation’s and sharing their feedback on the Next-Gen console. With Japan already in the early afternoon at the time of writing, we have already seen a lot of praise for the PlayStation5, along with a lot of disappointment from the lack of stock for those who were unable to pre-order the incredibly popular console.

We have also seen a lot of excitement for the incredible array of launch day exclusives and third-party titles which you can check out below. • Demon’s Souls • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered • Sackboy: A Big Adventure • Astro’s Playroom • Destruction All-Stars • GodFall • Just Dance 2021 • Assassins Creed: Valhalla • Fortnite • Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War • Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition • Grand Theft Auto 5: Online • Observer: System Redux • Watch Dogs Legion • Control: Ultimate Edition • Rainbow Six: Seige • Dirt 5 • Fifa 2021 • NBA 2K21 • WRC 9 • Bugsnax

Along with the release of all these incredible PlayStation 5 games, owners of the PlayStation 5 will also be able to take advantage of the PlayStation Plus collection which will feature 20 games that defined the PlayStation 4. You can check out all 20 games below. • Bloodborne • Days Gone • Detroit: Become Human • God of War • Infamous Second Son • Ratchet and Clank • The Last Guardian • The Last of Us Remastered • Until Dawn • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End • Batman: Arkham Knight • Battlefield 1 • Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy • Fallout 4 • Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition • Monster Hunter: World • Mortal Kombat X • Persona 5 • Resident Evil 7 biohazard

But that’s not all PlayStation has in store for us on the launch of PlayStation 5, as PlayStation Plus members will also be able to pick up the surprisingly anticipated Bugsnax, Middle Earth; Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. Have you received your PlayStation 5 yet or are you, unfortunately, left waiting like us? Join us on our social media channels below and let us know!
