With the leak revealed earlier today on Russsian Uplay we at 3Bit can finally say officially that Prince of Persia Sands of Time is getting a remake and will be available on January 21st 2021. Whilst the game footage we were shown is in Alpha development the game is looking incredibly messy, with its poorly updated design on both the characters, mixed with detailed upgrading on the environments. This had made top topics in gaming since the announcement, with fans saying this looks like an early Xbox 360/PS3 era game.
Ubisoft boasts, that this classic tale will not only see enhanced graphics for current Gen players but will also feature all new motion capture and voice acting, though the prince, and his incredibly British accent will still be played by Yuri Lowenthal who will take on this role still sounding as he did 17 years ago. The story of Sands of Time will remain untouched, allowing the game to be enjoyed by gamers new and old to this timeless franchise as they rediscover what it truly means to hold the dagger of time.
