After seeing ASUS's portable ProArt Monitor, we knew that it was something 3Bit needed to cover! Although being pricey, this portable display is an amazing tool for those creative professionals who are looking for a boost in their technology! For those artists out there who need colour-perfect accuracy, this is one of the strongest options avaliable out there. Infact every ProArt (PA148CTV) monitor is pre-calibrated at it's factory and Calman Verified to guarantee that the monitor has perfect colour accuracy. What's even more impressive is that every single ProArt created, undergoes meticulous testing to ensure smooth color gradation and to guarantee the very best visuals. But thats not all...

Features:

  • 14-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare panel with capacitive 10-point multitouch

  • 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 color gamut, and Calman Verified with factory pre-calibrated Delta E < 2 for exceptional color accuracy

  • User-friendly design with Intuitive OSD control via ASUS Dial, metal kickstand and tripod socket

  • I/O ports include two USB Type-C® ports (DP Alt mode) and one Micro HDMI for variety devices connection

  • ASUS Eye Care monitors feature TÜV Rheinland-certified Flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies to ensure a comfortable viewing experience

Should I Buy This?

I could spend a long while talking about this product but ulitmately it's aimed at a very specific audience. While the monitor features some absolutely blinding visual features, it also lacks some key features that make this more accessable to other types of buyers. For example the monitor is only full HD (1920x1080) as opposed to 4K, not making it great for next-gen gaming! Equally it only has a Micro HDMI port, making it even less accessible to a more casual user demographic. If you are an artist, photographer or have any other reason to design on the go, this is an amazing option. With its touch screen features, its options dial on the side, it speeds up the navigation of creation software. Just, if you plan gaming on this kit, (whilst its possible) we would recommend looking at other portable monitors!

Summary

This genuinely is not a sponsored post or even an ad for the screen, we genuinely saw this and took an instant interest especially with having alot of developers reading our content! If you are interested in the ProArt and are in the UK you can check more out about the product on ASUS's website here. Also, Did you know that we have an active Discord Channel in which we have both Developers and Gamers mixed?
