In the very small hours of this morning we got to see some incredible explosive teamwork in the all new reveal trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Rocksteady presented the all new Suicide Squad game during the DC Fandome event that has been going on since 6pm last night. The trailer features instantly recognisable Suicide Squad members such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark and Captain Boomerang, who as usual look to be up to no good ignoring orders from Whaller during an invasion. Their shenanigans are interrupted by one of the invaders, and chaos ensues as the Squad goes full force, flying flipping and teleporting through hordes of enemies, killing them indiscriminately to OutKast’s B.O.B. the montage seems to show each characters abilities, in which Harley seem s to be able to move about acrobatically with moves that pack a punch (or a bomb). Captain Boomerang can use his Boomerang to teleport around enemies as the weapon itself glides through them as if it were Vegemite. Deadshot has a Jetpack, in which he utilises to scorch the opposition that get to close for his guns. Whilst King Shark looks like somebody far to happy to be in possession of a minigun.

The teams peaceful end to the montage is interrupted by an overshadowing Superman, who has a pilot from a nearby crashed helicopter in his hands. For many of us we would be in awe that Superman and the Suicide Squad were tight, however as the games name suggests superman isn’t feeling friendly, and seems to have taken a dark turn, incinerating the pilot with his laser eyes. Could this be mind control or is something more sinister afoot? We here at 3-Bit share the word’s of Captain Boomerang at the end of the trailer when we realise that we are going to have to take down the international treasure as villains who have clearly bitten of a lot more than they can chew. We are sure that Superman will not be the only Superhero we will be fighting in this all new Suicide Squad game, and we at 3-Bit hope we shall also be seeing some assistance from other incredible villains from the DC universe, such as the infamous Lex Luthor. Suicide Squad will be a full continuation from the Arkham series, and will also feature co-op multiplayer, supporting yourself and up to 3 other team members. The game will be centred around metropolis and we cannot wait to hear more from DC about this game before its release in 2022.
