The next Dark pictures chapter has been revealed during last night's Summer Game Fest, and it is looking terrifying. The latest chapter of Dark pictures will take us back to 2003 in the heart of Iraq as a group of soldiers take on a mission that goes wrong in a way they could never have expected. As the soldiers fight on the sandy battlefield, hunting for chemical weapons, the ground beneath them begins to collapse. The team drops into a hidden temple below. However, this isn't your average Indiana Jones temple which is full of adventure and treasure. Instead, deadly creatures stalk the darkness, snatching up members of your squad never to see the light of day again.

The latest chapter has been named House of Ashes and will put us in a position we haven't been put into before in the Dark Pictures franchise. For the first time, we will be playing as trained hunters as we face an ancient evil in the Arabian desert, but will this small comfort be enough for us to make the right choices, work as a team and escape the subterranean labyrinth that the squad has fallen into or will it all fall apart at the seams thanks to personal rivalries, causing survival to be down to the fittest. The choice is yours in Dark Pictures: House of ashes which comes to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on October 22nd.
