Today we got a fresh look at Demon’s souls with an all new gameplay trailer, which you can check out above. To say the remake is looking impressive is an understatement as along with the graphically stunning gameplay we also learnt a bit more about what to expect from the PlayStation 5 launch title.
Demon’s Souls launches on November 12th alongside the US release of the PlayStation 5 and will be playable in 2 modes. The first mode is Cinematic with 4K at 30 FPS, whilst the second is performance, which plays in 4K at 60 FPS. However if fancy graphics aren’t your thing then you can play the game with a PS3 Filter.
Demon’s Souls will also see various portions of the dialogue re-recorded with the original cast, which will bring the audio quality up to modern standards we expect. We will also see some minor tweaks to some gameplay aspects, such as the roll which will now be 8 Directional, haptics will also be included to truly immerse the player and we will also see new animations for weapons to make each of them feel unique. However, there will be other gameplay aspects that remain untouched including the AI and Logic, which Demon’s Souls is best Known for.
Demon’s Souls has been remade by Bluepoint Games, who have rightly earned their title as king of the remaster. Through various sources Bluepoint Games have stated that they want to keep Demon’s Souls as true as possible to From Software’s original, whilst giving the classic title the feel of a Next-Gen game worthy of the PlayStation 5.
