Another incredible week of gaming has flown by here at 3Bit this week, where we have had some spectacular releases, unfortunate delay announcements and of course, even more, gaming news from around the world of Indy and AAA teams.   • FIFA 2022 will launch this October and will utilise its new Hyper Motion technology to bring the most immersive football experience to date.

  • Splitgate launches its crossplay beta on consoles and PC prior to the full release later this month on July 27th.

  • Ghostwire Tokyo has been delayed until 2022 in order for Tango Gameworks to bring the best game they can to fans.

  • Forza Horizon 5 releases a new trailer that focuses on the audio of the vehicles we will be driving in this next-gen racer.

  • Resident Evil's multiplayer spin-off, RE: Verse, has been delayed until 2022 to allow the team more time to work on giving players a smooth gameplay experience.

  • We will not be seeing any Star Wars games during this year's EA Play Live on July 27th.

  • Netflix has announced that it plans to enter the world of Video Games, but could this affect developers? We explore what this could mean for them.

  • GTA Online announces its next free update, Los Santos Tuners, which will bring new races and reputation levels.

  • Valve unveils its Steam Deck, a new handheld console that will bring PC gaming to the couch and to the TV, with its dock currently being sold separately.

  • Just in time for the British Gand Prix, F1 2021 releases on 1 2021 is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation5 and PC via Steam. The latest instalment to the F1 franchise will include an all-new story mode.

  • The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD releases on Nintendo Switch!

  • Rainbow 6 Extraction has been delayed until January 2022 as the project requires extra time!

  • Riders Republic has been delayed until October 28th, instead of its originally stated release date of September 2nd.

  • Sega's Company of Heroes 3 has been announced and is being developed by Relic.

  • This Weeks Indie spotlight shines a light on the Shapeshifting adventure Coridden and the highly anticipated Kena Bridge of Spirits.
