

It has been another incredible week in gaming, and this weekend all eyes have been facing East for the Tokyo Games Show, where Japanese developers and publishers have been showcasing their fantastic upcoming titles. We also saw a few new announcements from companies such as Koei Tecmo. Could this takeover give Xbox the exclusives they need? • Xbox Series X and Series S pre-orders went live during the week, with the towering series X selling out within 2 hours, whilst the Series S remains available in some locations. • Traction is building in the rumour mill for a Metal Gear Solid Remake. • Gone Viral enters Early Access. You can pick up the incredible Rogue-lite bloodsports now on Steam. • Among us 2 is cancelled to allow the developers to focus on the first Among Us 2, a new map, accessibility options and server improvements will be coming soon. • Amazon announces its new gaming streaming service: Luna. This cloud streaming service is available for Early Access in the US at the moment. • Paranoid, a judgement based card game for you and your friends launches its Kickstarter campaign. You can find out more here on 3Bit. • Devil May Cry V Special Edition will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox One. During Capcom’s Showcase at Tokyo Game Show this week. Capcom also officially announced that players on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One would also be able to play as Virgil with DLC coming in the future. • Koei Tecmo announced Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires at the Tokyo Game Show for all PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
• Monster Hunter Rise introduces a new companion, the Palimute which can be ridden around the levels. • Capcom announces that they are going to “Try” to bring Resident Evil 8 to current-gen consoles.
