This Week In Gaming this week will be a bumper filled one as we have so much gaming news to cover and with our editors still being extremely busy in the background we have not yet been able to bring this news to you in full detail. This weeks main focus has been with The Indie Houses, where 7 incredible Indie developers have come together to bring us a fantastic direct filled with exciting announcements and updates, along with 7 days of demos. You can check out all our highlights to the Indie Houses here.
A New Dead Space first look gives a look at how much the game will be improving graphically. The changes will definitely up the level of horror within this classic title.
No Mans Sky Frontiers is out now and will allow us to build our own settlements, with over 250 more base parts and pets!
We will be getting more details about Gotham Knights at this years DC Fandome, which takes place on October 16th.
September's PlayStation Plus games are looking incredible and filled with multiplayer fun with Overcooked: All You Can Eat and Predator Hunting Grounds, and deadly antics with Hitman 2.
The next highly anticipated PlayStation showcase will broadcast September 9th at 9pm BST!
Weeks of Hate raids have been taking their toll on streamers and has led to the first #ADayOf Twitch. Twitch has responded stating they wish to have a dialogue about creator safety, but nothing more has come from it since then other than words of support.
Horizon Forbidden West is available to pre-order now with 3 physical special editions and a digital deluxe edition! The PS4 to PS5 upgrade was originally going to cost players, but Sony have since reversed that decision and will allow players to upgrade their PlayStation 4 copies free of charge.
In light of this previous Statement however Jim Ryan CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment has stated future first party games will cost $10 to upgrade from PlayStation 4 to 5 in the future. This will include the next God of War and Gran Turismo 7.
The Tokyo Games show will take place online once again this year and will include presentations from Square Enix, Xbox, King Of Fighters, Capcom and much more!
