

Another incredible week in gaming has flown by here at 3Bit and award season is upon us. Whilst we at 3Bit are fledgeling and not doing our own awards ceremony, We cannot wait for the upcoming announcements that will be coming with this year’s biggest awards night and beyond into the Holiday Season. But before we dive into all of this excitement next week let’s take a moment to reflect on the last seven days of gaming news, announcements, trailers and much more in our weekly catch up below. • Super Nintendo World Japan announces its opening day as February 4th 2021. • DOOM Eternal joins games pass and will also be available on Nintendo Switch from December 8th. • With DOM still fresh on the mind DOOM Guy will also be joining the Fall Guys Roster in the Crown Store. • Rainbow 6 Siege celebrates five years, with next-gen upgrades, a new operator and a map rework for Skyscraper, along with all the other incredible updates that have come this year. • Fortnite’s world-changing Galactus event crashes Twitch and brings some major changes to the island. • Omori an all new Indie title from Omocat gets a festive release date.
• Bandai Namco is working with the creators of Wallace and Gromit, Aardman Animations for a new IP. • Cyberpunk 2077 is less than a week away now, and CD Projekt Red have shown off a finishing feature, photo mode. • Avalanche Studio Founder Christofer Sundberg has founded a new company, liquid sword after the buyout of Avalanche. • Call of the Sea is given a release date of December 8th. We strongly recommend this title to fans of Firewatch. • Silent Hill Creator Keiichiro Toyama has founded a new studio, Bokeh Studios. • Haven releases on PlayStation 5 Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Watch this space for our upcoming review of this new title from The Game Bakers. • CD Projekt Red requests that anybody who has received Cyberpunk early not to stream it until December 10th when the title launches. • Rocksteady adds two rather unusual bat-suits to Arkham Knight.
• Oscar Isaac is confirmed to play the role of Solid Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Movie. • The Monster Hunter Movie releases in some regions of the world and with it comes a new crossover event for Monster Hunter World. • The Monster Hunter Movie has been pulled from Chinese Cinemas due to a joke that has offended citizens In China. As a result, it has also seen Monster Hunter World Review bombed on Steam. • Neil Druckman is promoted to Co-President of Naughty Dog. • Immortals Fenyx Rising releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. With that, we are all caught up for another week of gaming.
