Another incredible week in gaming has been and gone here at 3Bit, and with it, we have seen more great gaming news from around the world. With the world waiting for the return of major gaming events such as E3 and Geoff Keighley's Summer Games Fest, announcements have been on the quiet side, but that doesn't mean the gaming world has been quiet.   • Another Resident Evil Demo has kicked off today for a limited time today! Here in the UK, you can start playing the castle from 6pm! If you want to learn more about the various demos for Resident Evil Village, check out our article here with all thedemos and their times and dates.


  • Sony revives its PS Vita and Ps 3 digital stores this week, which is excellent news for some, but bad news for those who saw it as the start of backward compatibility.


  • Free to play truly means free to play on Xbox now. You can check out all the details here.


  • PlayStation  Plus Members in Poland are trialling a new streaming service as an added      bonus to their subscription. The year-long trial is starting with 15 movies and 6 TV shows for the first 3 months.

  • Itch.IO, Brave and many more online applications become more accessible to gamers by      becoming apps on the Epic Games Launcher.


  • Shaun Escayg returns to Naughty Dog. What could this mean for the narrative-driven developers? Check out our views here.


  • The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is finally coming to the West for PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Launching July 27th.


  • NES controllers are 30% off on the Nintendo E-Store for a limited time to North American      online members.


  • There are just 2 Days to go to support Lone Fungus on Kickstarter. This incredible Indie is so close to making its funding target.


  • Jim Ryan, the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, went on record saying "the PS5 generation will have more dedicated software than ever before" during an interview with Video games chronicle.

  • A recent press release from EA claims that the next Battlefield game will be coming this holiday season and currently has its biggest team to date working on it.


  • Firewalk Studios, a development studio founded by Destiny veterans, has announced a      partnership with PlayStation for their debut multiplayer IP.


  • Several EA Games for Xbox, including Titan Fall2, Battlefield V and Battlefront 2, can now be played at 120FPS.


  • Just in time for Pokemon Snap, Nintendo Switch is now compatible with Fujifilm's Instax      Mini Printers.
