Today Paradox Interactive, the publishers that have brought us many great titles, including the Age of Wonders series and Stellaris titles, has released their year-end report for 2020. While things are generally looking up for the company, with a 14% increase in revenues, the report includes some bad news for The World of Darkness fans. The bad news is that we will not be seeing Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 release this year, mostly due to the developers working under Paradox have had difficulty working under the usual pace thanks to Covid 19 along with their desire to ensure Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 is in the best state possible before they release it.
Along with the post-2021 delay for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2, Paradox Interactive also announced that they would be bringing a new developer in to take the lead in place of current lead developer Hardsuit Labs. Paradox Explained that "This has been a difficult decision, but we are convinced that it is the right way forward to do the game justice."
