Recently developers of Vampire the Masquerade, Paradox, have put out a statement delaying their game Bloodlines 2 till 2021, no longer aiming for a 2020 release. The reason for this is all down to quality. The developers have set a high bar of quality and want to release a game that fans will love. The state that their decision has not come easy, although it is the best option to deliver us gamer's the best game possible. You can read their full statement in the picture below.
Although this is sad news for everyone, it shows the level of commitment and care that Paradox have been giving to the development of this game. You can only respect a team who are willing to delay the release of their title to ensure that when it launches, it isn't a broken and unfinished mess. Although this comes as an expectation, not all developers have taken this approach, but instead opting to release a broken game, which gets absolutely slammed in user reviews.
