Warhammer 40000: Darktide was announced yesterday during the Xbox Games Showcase. Created by the Vermin Tide 2 developers Fatshark we can expect hordes upon hordes of enemies, as the trailer gives us a brief glimpse of the terrors in the dark. Moving away from the age of Sigmar and into the world of 40K will be more of a first-person shooter, rather than a first-person slasher. We anticipate that Dark Tide will be a lot more reminiscent of the Left 4 Dead series, where the hordes will be a lot more callous in their approach, giving you limited opportunity to defend block enemy blows and instead, challenging you to kill them before they get to close. You can check out the cold and haunting trailer for Warhammer 40000: Darktide above, and though there is no release date for Darktide yet we do know it will be releasing on Xbox Series X and PC, no comment has been made on PlayStation receiving this title yet.
