Yesterdays Wired Direct saw many great announcements from Watford based Indie publishers Wired Productions and their worldwide group of developers. The Wired Direct featured tonnes of exciting new Indie games, and you can check out the full event above. Alternatively, you can check out our highlights from the Incredible showcase below.

Our First highlight from the showcase was one that got the most hype from viewers, and that was the upcoming horror title Martha is Dead. This new first-person psychological horror is being brought to us by Town of Light Developer LKA. This all-new horror experience will take players to Tuscany in 1944, where players will begin to question the world they are experiencing and even their own eyes as they try to survive intense twists and surprise reveal that will shake players to their core. The main aspect of Martha is dead is the use of its camera function, which will bring a whole new level of immersion to “photo mode” players will be able to capture and process images they grab in a traditional film and darkroom style, which can be used to fill their own personal collection and to progress the story.

Moving away from horror and into the Great Ursee, we have The Falconeer, by Thomas Sala, which is available now on PC and Xbox Consoles. The Falconeer’s solo developer revealed during the event that we would see an all-new DLC for the Falconeer, and in this surprise reveal, we got to learn a bit more about it. The New DLC titled Atun’s Folly will take players to all new highs … and lows as we explore the life of a pirate in the Great Ursee and check out an all-new Pirate Settlement. Atun’s Folly was not only revealed during this showcase but also released for Xbox and PC. To top it off, the DLC is also free to any who own The Falconeer.

Our third highlight comes fromOiffy & Wolf & Wood, who revealed their all-new Stealth action title, The Last Worker, which is coming to Oculus, Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch later next year. The Last Worker is about us, the last human worker trying to survive as we do our job in a giant forest filled with giant threats. Not a lot has been given away for The Last Worker Just Yet, but what has been confirmed is that the artwork is created by Judge Dredd artist Mick MacMahon. Be sure to Stay Tuned with us here at 3Bit as we continue to explore more details surrounding this upcoming title.

Finally, from Wired Productions AND Nosebleed Interactive, we have Arcade Paradise, an all-new Sim game where the arcade possibilities are endless. In Arcade Paradise, we take on the role of a laundromat owner whose life is filled with mundane chores to the next level, as we begin to realise the one arcade machine in the laundromat is making more money than the washers and driers combined. With this knowledge, we grow our laundromat into the greatest arcade ever, with over 35 games, all of which can be enjoyed by the player too! But that isn’t all. Arcade Paradise will also allow you to enjoy these arcade games with your friends in cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes in 3 decades of arcade-style games!
