UPDATE - 08/09 - 08:21: Xbox have made it official. The official Xbox Twitter account has confirmed the Xbox Series S and Release Date for both consoles as November 10th. Now all we need is the official announcement of the Series X pricing and we finally have a full reveal! Although, based on previous links and this one, it is highly likely that the price points stated below will be pretty accurate.

Today all of the common forums for gaming leaks blew up, as images of the Xbox Series S began to surface. Not only that, but a release date and price also came with the leak to boot. We here at 3-Bit don't like to report on rumours unless they carry a good amount of weight, rather than "Just trust me, i'm an insider" rumours.

The reason we believe this leak holds weight is down to Xbox's handling of the leak and the amount of big names that have been reporting on this leak including some Xbox "insiders". But most importantly, When the leak went viral, Xbox simply responded suspiciously with a meme. With how close both the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S is due to release, a price point has to be given at any point now and this could be a strategy to end the Sony and Microsoft Pricing Deadlock. This is the closest consumers have gone to a consoles release without a price point to save towards. So this is a risky move for both giants!

The leaks shown, state that the Xbox Series X will be $499, whilst the Series S will come in at the cheapest price point of $299. Additionally both Consoles have been pegged with a release date of November 10th. Now due to the leak being an American leak, this could end up being different in the UK due to COVID-19, and like any other leak, take this with a fine pinch of salt. Although, i'm quite confident that this is the real deal and that this date will be the same for us. Based on how tech giants recently haven't been converting the prices too much in Europe and UK I would guess that those prices will translate directly into each currency with the Xbox Series X being €499 (£449) and Xbox Series S €299 (£249).

What are your thoughts on this leak? Be sure to check out Twitter & Reddit and let us know whether you think this is the real deal! We certainly are confident that it is!
